Ontology of russian and western cultures: the initial position of culturological analysis

This study focuses on the problem of understanding the ontology, the relationship between humans and the natural world, the cosmos in the system of Russian and Western civilization. The problems of work is highly relevant given current trends in geopolitics and culture. Methodological base of research was: philosophical methods of analysis, synthesis, and comparative analysis and elements of civilizational analysis. The research consists of introduction, main part, represented by several sections, conclusion and list of references. The paper identified the origins of the development of the ontology of the West and Russia, found that they have a religious content. Eastern and Western Christianity have formed various ideas about the existence, the man and his relation to nature. Thus, the Western ontology of the rational, is based on the juxtaposition of the human world and the natural world, and the Russian ontology is based on the principle of love as the main ontological categories.
