The Lost Monuments of Medieval Church Architecture in the Development of the Sochi Region

The article describes the factors that led to the partial loss of monuments of medieval Christian architecture in the development of the city of Sochi in the first half of the past century. This problem has been insufficiently studied until recently. Information on the problem is scarce, some of it is stored in archival funds that are difficult to access.

Features of A.P. Bogolyubov’s views on the problems of formation and development of the national art school

The author explores the views of A.P. Bogolyubov on the ideological and aesthetic attitudes of the Russian fine art of his time, reflected in the creative activities of the Partnership of traveling art exhibitions; analyzes the artist’s attitude to the questions of the formation of the Russian national school, its features and tasks. The hypothesis about heterogeneity of composition of artists of society, about differences in beliefs and views on the European and domestic fine art of its separate representatives, on the example of A.P. Bogolyubov, is proved.

Method of the primary situation in non-fiction cinema and television

The ways of using the method of the primary situation in the direction of documentary films are analyzed – the organization of meetings, trips, the formation of situations that will help brightly and sharply reveal the character. Director’s tasks and super-tasks are revealed when using the method of the primary situation. The specificity of the use of this method in cinema and television is compared. Genres and formats complementary to the primary situation method are analyzed. The method is analyzed on the examples of the works of the foreign and domestic cinema best directors – Robert Flaherty, Victor Lisakovich. Also, the modern festival cinema is examined – «The yes men fix the world» (dir. A. Bichlbaum, M. Bonanno, K. Engfehr), «Pizza in Auschwitz» (dir. M. Zimmermann).

To the memory of russian numimatist – professor E.A. Pahomov (1880–1965)

In this article authors made an attempt to generalize all available information about the outstanding numismatistcauciologist – E.A. Pahomov. The author of more than 80 scientific publications including and several
monographs, this scientist is more known as the men who dedicated the most part of his life to numismatics,
archaeology and epigraphy of Transcaucasia. At the same time this researcher did a great job and for the
making up the base of information about the coins finds and treasures of the Northern Caucasus and Kuban
beginning from the era of antiquity and till the late Middle Ages. This experience allow to us to position the
E.A. Pahomov as the researcher of the Kuban and the Northern Caucasus.

The caucasian war in the mirror of poetry: «Poems of empty saklya» by zaubiy bzasezhev

The article analyses the reflection of the Circassia history in Z. Bzasezhev lyrics: Adyghe poet refracts the
tragic events of the Caucasian war in his works. Special attention is paid to personal beginning and
generalizations, which allowed to express the feelings of the people; peculiarities of the author’s view of
historical process and methods of its declaration.
