Features of image and style in the works of the artist Svetlana Demkina

The article is the first experience in scientific generalization of the creativity of Krasnodar artist Svetlana Demkina. The author traces the degree of influence of Russian and foreign masters on the formation of Demkina’s talent, as well as reveals the features of figurative characteristics and author’s style of the master.

Folk material culture in the collections of museums of the Severskiy district of the Krasnodar region: results of the sixth folklore and ethnographic expedition «Preservation of folk culture of Kuban» of the KSIC
The article describes the results of a study of the material culture of the Severskiy district. The traditional types of folk arts and crafts are revealed, samples of which are presented in the district museum collections. An analysis of the characteristics of traditional material culture can contribute to its practical development by modern youth.

Conditions of work with archaeological objects from metals in the field

A brief review of the field preservation of archaeological finds from iron and copper alloys and a description of the existing traditional research directions in the preservation of such artifacts, generally accepted methods and methods of their processing used by restorers are presented. The work is based on the studied theoretical aspects and practical knowledge on this topic. The surface principles of preserving the objects of historical and cultural heritage, the problems of restoration and conservation of ferrous and non-ferrous metals in the field are indirectly affected. The prospect of these studies in the traditional plan of theoretical scientific research is considered.
