Chokha in everyday life of the russian army troops during the caucasian war

The article is devoted to the mountain type of men’s outwear Chokha circassian coat which has changed a lot in the life of a Russian soldier upon the arrival of the Russian army in the Caucasus. Russian soldiers began to dress after the fashion of a traditional mountain dress (Chokha), adopted by the Caucasian Cossacks, who, in turn, borrowed it from the hillfolk.
